Reporting to the Site Manager, lead a committed kitchen team in delivering high-quality, nutritious, resident-focused meals. Work collaboratively with care, clinical, and lifestyle teams while engaging regularly with residents. Ensure compliance with protocols and maintain operations within budgetary guidelines.

Requirements
- Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Experience managing kitchen operations and leading teams
- Knowledge of special dietary needs and aged care food standards
- Ability to plan and implement catering services with a holistic resident-focused approach
- Creativity in menu planning and recipe management tools
- Team mindset, compassion, and can-do attitude
- Aged care experience desirable
- Australian Working Rights and valid Police Check or NDIS check
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day supervision of employees in all aspects of food operations
- Demonstrate strong leadership and sustain a high-performing kitchen team
- Prepare, plan, and cook various meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks
- Comply with infection control protocols and safe food handling procedures
- Ensure meals account for resident choices, allergies, and recommendations
- Support WHS and infection control practices
- Collaborate with care, clinical, and lifestyle teams
- Maintain food costs within budgetary guidelines and supervise ordering systems
