
About this role
As a Line Cook in our legendary music and entertainment venues, you'll play a crucial role in delivering delicious, high-quality food that fuels the guest experience. Prepare ingredients, cook dishes to specifications, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards. Work in a high-volume kitchen surrounded by the energy of live performances.
Perform cooking procedures including sauté, grill, fry, bake, and roast using ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. Execute knife skills like slice, chop, mince, julienne, and dice to prepare food items safely. Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines to minimize waste.
Read and execute food orders from printed tickets or kitchen display systems accurately and promptly. Ensure food is served promptly and notify leadership of delays. Clean and organize walk-in coolers, food production areas, equipment, and general kitchen spaces.
Properly store food and chemicals with labels, dates, and correct temperatures. Break down workstations, return supplies, and secure the kitchen at shift end. Model service basics, follow policies and SOPs, and report unsafe conditions in this team-driven environment.
Requirements
- Technical cooking skills in sauté, grill, fry, bake, and roast methods
- Proficiency in knife skills including slice, chop, mince, julienne, and dice
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment (knives, slicers, mixers, choppers, grinders) safely
- Knowledge of standardized recipes and portion control to minimize waste
- Experience maintaining food safety, sanitation, and storage standards
- Capacity to work accurately and promptly in high-volume kitchen environment
- Passion for teamwork to ensure exceptional service
Responsibilities

- Ensure food is served promptly and notify leadership of any delays
- Clean and organize walk-in coolers, food production areas, equipment, and general kitchen areas
- Properly store food and chemicals, label, date, and maintain appropriate temperatures
- Clean workstation, return supplies, complete closing side work, and secure kitchen at end of shift
