Prep Cooks enable restaurants to produce high quality items in a timely manner by keeping ingredients ready for service. Responsible for the daily preparation of food items as assigned by the management team. Ensure using the freshest ingredients while following sanitation guidelines and prepping recipes to standard for product consistency.
Work in a team environment, taking direction calmly and effectively under pressure. Demonstrate commitment to quality service with food and beverage knowledge. Adhere to safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures using basic English and professional communication skills.

Requirements
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
- Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Basic English language and professional communication skills
- Able to lift up to 15lbs for extended periods
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for 8-10 hours per day
- Hand-eye coordination with reaching, bending, and stooping
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily food items as assigned by the management team
- Keep ingredients ready for service to produce high quality items timely
- Use the freshest ingredients in all preparations
- Follow sanitation guidelines at all times
- Prep recipes to standard to maintain product consistency
- Assist line cooks during service shifts
- Maintain clean and organized prep stations
