About this role

As a Line Cook, prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides to maintain quality standards. Assign production and prep work for Line Cooks, reviewing priorities and communicating changes throughout the shift. This role supports efficient kitchen operations in a hotel environment.

Set up workstations with required mise en place, tools, equipment, and supplies each shift. Inspect the cleanliness and working conditions of all tools, equipment, and supplies. Inform the Sous Chef of any supplies needed for the day's tasks to ensure readiness.

Break down workstations and complete closing duties at the end of the last shift of the day. Work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Join a team focused on providing great experiences for Guests through collaborative efforts.

Demonstrate high work ethic and self-initiative in a fast-paced kitchen. Ability to work all stations on the line ensures versatility. Food handling certification supports safe and compliant food preparation practices.

Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years' experience as a Line Cook at a hotel/resort or restaurant
  • Ability to work all stations on the line
  • Food handling certification required
  • High work ethic and self-initiative
  • Ability to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our Guests

  • Prepare and assign production and prep work for Line Cooks to complete; review priorities
  • Communicate additions or changes to the assignments as they arise throughout the shift
  • Set up work station with required mise en place, tools, equipment and supplies
  • Inspect the cleanliness and working conditions of all tools, equipment and supplies
  • Inform the Sous Chef of any supplies that need to be requisitioned for the day's tasks
  • Breakdown work stations and complete closing duties at the end of last shift of the day
