Requirements

  • Expertise in classical and contemporary pastry techniques
  • Proficiency in chocolate work, sugar artistry, and plated desserts
  • Strong baking science knowledge for consistent results
  • Leadership experience in high-volume resort or hotel kitchens
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic hospitality environments
  • Familiarity with inventory management and recipe costing

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute pastry menus featuring plated desserts and baked goods
  • Produce high-volume pastries, breads, and confections for resort dining and events
  • Supervise pastry team to maintain quality and efficiency in production
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for pastry ingredients
  • Innovate seasonal dessert offerings aligned with resort themes
  • Collaborate with culinary team on banquet and spa menu integrations
  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards in fast-paced kitchen
