Janitor / Pot Washer

National Star Services, a leading facility management company with over 27 years of industry experience, is seeking dependable and motivated team members to join in Des Plaines, IL 60018. Open positions include Pot Washers and Janitors. Responsibilities will vary depending on the role.

Team members will wash and organize industrial kitchen equipment, pack and assemble food items according to production orders, and perform routine cleaning and sanitation tasks. They will follow recipes and production guidelines while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene. Daily efforts focus on working efficiently to meet production goals.

Pay is $17.00 per hour with biweekly payouts. Schedules run Monday through Sunday with 2 days off during the week and require weekend availability. Available shifts are 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. for Pot Washer and 4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. for Janitor, with weekly schedules provided by supervisor.

Requirements include authorization to work in the U.S., bilingual English and Spanish skills, reliable transportation, and slip-resistant shoes. Candidates need ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift as required, and start immediately. Custodial experience is preferred for the Janitor role; only qualified applicants will be contacted.
